Since I have memory, English cinema is in crisis. We have a history filled with adventure, as the literature of the golden share and a wealth and rich cultural variety. Our cinema rarely (if not any) has taken advantage of.

Americans have come to take something that we do not know or do not want to do, as they did with Cid, who will be remembered by many with the face of Charlton Heston.

Now Martin Sheen must come under the command of his son Emilio Estevez tells the story of a journey on the Camino de Santiago under the title "The Way ." The film as Tom Avery (Martin Sheen), a renowned ophthalmologist who one day receives the news of his son (Emilio Estevez) has died near the Pyrenees. Once there to collect the body, he discovers that he intended to do the Camino de Santiago. Avery, worried because he could not have a good relationship with your child in life, decides to make himself the Way. A trip for, initiation, to find himself and also understand how he lived his own son.

The film was shot in sequence, ie, in chronological order with respect to the script, in 16mm and no artificial lighting, an exercise in craftsmanship. Be seen whether the 140 minutes of footage are not very long, for the time after seen the trailer, the movie looks good to me. We have to wait until November 19th to go see a movie.

remember that Martin Sheen is actually the stage name of Ramón Gerardo Antonio Estévez, one of 10 children of a marriage between an Irish Galician.
